Crazy Easy Stone Fruit Tarte
Ingredients — Serves 6
2 cups sliced stone fruit (peach, apricot, pluot, plum or nectarine)
1 sheet puffy pastry
1/4 cup sugar
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 egg beaten
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Preheat baking sheet as well.
In a bowl, combine fruit, sugar and lemon juice. Set aside.
Roll out puff pastry on parchment paper, and fold in edges to create a border.
Evenly distribute fruit mix within the border. Brush border with beaten egg and sprinkle demarara sugar around the border.
Bake for 20 minutes or until crust is golden brown. Enjoy!
