Cinnamon Sugar Broiled Grapefruit

  • 1 Texas grapefruit

  • 2 tbsp cinnamon sugar mix


  1. Heat the oven to broil.

  2. Cut the grapefruit in half. Loosen the fruit from the membrane. Grapefruit spoons work nice for this.

  3. Sprinkle each half with cinnamon sugar mixture, and put in an oven-safe dish, sugar-side up.

  4. Broil for 12 minutes, or until the top turns quite brown and caramelized.

  5. Eat while warm, and enjoy!
